Eve Ensler, who wrote The Vagina Monologues, feels that the Nirbhaya incident exposed the incredible amount of rape & violence that was going on in India.

To Delhiites, Eve Ensler is the woman who wrote the controversial play, The Vagina Monologues. She is also the woman behind One Billion Rising, a global movement which saw thousands of Indians joining the international protests against gender violence. In the city to promote the second year of the movement, Eve met ‘abuse survivors and victors’ of the Apne Aap foundation, and spoke about the issues in India that angered her. Continue Reading.
